"We had an absolutely wonderful few days at Topiary Barn!
Wendy is a delightful and attentive host, without being intrusive, and accommodation was excellent from day one. You really do feel like you’re staying in a cottage in the countryside given it’s delightful location in Wendy’s beautifully tended topiary garden; quiet and peaceful yet only a very short distance from shops, cafes and local hostelries.
Being able to park in our own dedicated, secure parking space just next to the building was an added bonus and much appreciated. The accommodation was warm, welcoming and very comfortable. The kitchen area was exceptionally well equipped with everything you could possibly need if you were planning to cook and prepare a meal at home…or even do some washing and ironing! Tea, coffee and milk were all provided and after a busy day out and about,enjoying a cuppa or glass of something on your own sunny patio was a perfect end to the day. If you’re planning to visit Rutland Water, Burghley House or to explore a little further afield, then Topiary Barn is the ideal place to stay; I will definitely be back…if the many friends I’ve already recommended it to don’t get there first!

"Great location in the centre of Uppingham. It felt private and we were not intruded on at all by the host (who was very friendly). Pint of milk and tea and coffee in the kitchen on arrival which was a very nice touch. There is a co-op 50 yards away for supplies.  Everything worked in the room and overall we had a great stay. Very central, with secure parking right in the centre of Uppingham.
Small apartment with all we needed for a very pleasant stay.

The individual hand sanitiser bottles were a nice touch with everything going on at the moment!! The barn is right on the centre of Uppingham and we can recommend The Falcon and The Crown for meals out.
